Japan to
upgrade economic coop. with Libya
2004-09-15/ A Japanese economic,
industrial and trade delegation is in Libya on a working visit to
promote economic cooperation between the two countries.
The delegation headed by Lebroka Kazolori, deputy - executive
president of the Japanese Zone for Foreign Trade, met with the
Assistant Secretary of Co-operation at the General People's
Committee for Foreign Liaison and International Co-operation, where
the two sides discussed horizons of bilateral cooperation in all
fields between the two countries, especially in the economic, trade
and oil investment ones.
They also reviewed ways and means to consolidate bilateral
cooperation between the two countries in tourist fields as well as
in automobile industry.
Mr. Kazolori confirmed his country's keen interest and desire to
enhance his country's relations with the Libya in various fields.
He pointed out that the Japanese economic delegation accompanying
him which included major Japanese companies working in various
fields, reflects such desire to develop and consolidate the
bilateral relations
