Appeal the
Leader from Head of Abuja talks on Darfur
Hamid al-Gabed, Chief of the talks, currently conducted
by the African Union in Abuja on Darfur, has renewed the African
Union's appeal to the Leader of the Revolution to intervene
personally to solve Darfur problem and to lead the efforts on this
issue.
He underlined the appeals made by international figures
to the Leader on the issue due to high esteem and respect he enjoys
by all parties concerned and his high political and moral position
in the African continent.
Hamed al-Ghabed expressed during his meeting with the
assistant secretary of the African Union at the General People's
Committee for Foreign Liaison and International Co-operation in
Tripoli Saturday, his high appreciation of the pioneering role of
the Leader of the Revolution in consolidating security and stability
across Africa.
The meeting also dwelt on the discussion and review of
the latest developments of the situation in Darfur region in line
with the talks, currently conducting by the African Union on this
issue.
