President Amadou Tomane Toure, of the Republic of Mali, member
of Conference of Leaders and Heads of State of CEN-SAD
Community, praised the pioneering role of the Leader of the
Revolution, President of the Conference, in resolving problems
and ending crisis in the CEN-SAD community, which is in line
with his role as a high peace mediator in the CEN-SAD space and
beyond.
During a welcoming ceremony at Gao region airport, north of
Mali, for the Malian soldiers held by a group of Mali's
Touaregs, after negotiations conducted by Gaddafi's
International Foundations for Charitable Associations and
Development succeeded in their release, President Toure highly
esteemed efforts of the Leader Muammer Al-Gaddafi and his
endeavors which help in the release of the Malian soldiers.
In his address, President Toure emphasized that the humanitarian
initiative brought relief for the Malian people, who appreciate
and respect the leader.
"There was a contacts between myself and the leader Muammer
Al-Gaddafi several months ago to find a solution to the
problem," President Toure said.
Just as always whenever the leader promises to find a solution
for an issue...today he fulfilled his promise by freeing all the
captives and returning them to their families.".
The Malian President hailed the role of Gaddafi's International
Foundations for Charitable Associations and Development, which
exerted diligent efforts to ensure the release of the Malian
soldiers.
"Libya is a sisterly and a friendly country and always stands
besides Mali, especially in time of difficulties," He said.
