According to the PANAPRESS sources of the 27.01.2008, the leader
of the revolution, colonel Muammar Al Qathafi met this Sunday in
Tripoli with presidents Omar Bongo Odimba of Gabon, Hosni
Mubarak of Egypt, Abdoulaye Wade of Senegal, Idris Deby Itno of
Chad, Omar Hassan el-Bechir of Sudan, Isaias Afeworki of Eritrea
and Sidi Mohammed Ould Sheik of Mauritania.
This meeting focused on the agenda of the summit of the Heads of
State and government of the African Union (AU) which will be
held in Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia and the headquarters of
the AU from February 1-2, 2008.
The leader of the Libyan revolution and his hosts also mentioned
certain continental problems and the means to solve them, as
well as the conclusions of the committee which was charged by
the AU to draft proposals on the formation of a continental
government and the importance of this one in the way of the
construction of the United States of Africa.
