Fund for Assistance & Development in Africa of the General
People's Committee for Foreign Liaison and International
Cooperation today started to send flights charged with
agriculture tractors with accessories to Niger and Mali to
make successful the seasonal cultivation in both countries,
members of the Cen-Sad Community.
This
move is based on the agricultural mechanization campaign,
announced by the Leader of the Revolution in the opening
session of the Community's 10th Summit to achieve food
security in the states of the Community.
The
Fund's sources said similar flights were organized during
the past two days.
The
equipment will be followed by agricultural technicians to
handle the campaign in the states of the Community, the
sources said.
