General People's Committee holds panel discussion on sectors' administrative restructure

[Tripoli, 09.04.2008-JANA] The General People's Committee yesterday morning held a panel discussion in Tripoli to review outcomes of the meetings of the Committee for State's New Administrative Structure Vision within the context of implementation of the decree No (10) of the General People's Congress, which provided for establishment of committees to prepare proposals and practical measures to implement content of the Leader's speech in 31st anniversary of proclamation of the people's authority and the beginning of 1st Jamahiriya in history.

The panel discussion was administrated by the Assistant Secretary of the General People's Committee and attended by Secretaries of the General People's Committees for education; Workforce, Training and Employment, Industry and Mineral; Economy, Trade and Investment, Justice, Communication and Transport, and Health and Environment.

The panel discussion included a number of experts, specialists and members of the teaching staff from al-Fatah University, Gar Younes University, Higher Education Academy and the National Institute for Administration to enrich discussion on the sectors' concepts that were submitted during the committees' meetings in this regard.

The panel discussion considered a number of general specifications, proposals and concepts to restructure these sectors which will be referred to committee in charge to prepare the new administrative structure in accordance with the previously mentioned decree of the General People's Congress.
