Damascus, 29.03.08, JANA - The African Union President Alpha
Oumar Konare underlined the importance of the call of the
Leader of the Revolution for establishing the Arab-African
space, clarifying that relation between Arabs and Africans
is a relation based on partnership, as the case with the
rest of the world, rather a fraternal relation and common
destiny.
Konare
said, in a speech at the opening session of the Arab summit
in Damascus, that if the Africans and all the Arabs do not
unite in a single space, they would not have the initiative
in this era. He clarified that wealth and material and human
resources that Arabs and Africans have, qualify them to be a
progressive force in the world. He also mentioned that, if
the Arab-African space were to be formed, it would be the
largest promising market in the world with its economic
strength, through the natural and material resources of the
Arabs and Africans. |
