The Secretary general of
the General People's Committee and the Secretaries of the
General People's committees for Communication and transport,
electricity water and gas, justice, higher education,
assistant secretary of GPC for Justice, took a field tour
today, Monday to follow up the implementation of housing and
developmental projects in Ghat Shabia.
They were also accompanied in this tour by the coordinator
of the social people's leaderships, the secretary of the
people's congress of the Shabiya and a group of the
secretaries of BPC's, people's committees for sectors,
secretary of the General Housing Authority, assistant
secretary of Implementation Board for Housing and Utilities
Projects, secretaries of administrative body for development
of administrative areas, urban planning department Saving
and Real Estate Investment Bank and general directors of
Agricultural Banks .
The follow up tour included Tahala Project of Tahala Basic
People's Congress were ( 80 ) housing units are under
construction, in addition to the execution to ( 70 ) new
housing units.
The project's engineers pointed out that the cost of this
housing project mounts to( 5,416,544) million Dinars and
that about 45% of the construction works are completed.
The follow up tour also included the completion of ( 149 )
housing units at a cost of ( 93,301,659 ) million Dinars ,
in addition to inspecting the site of the construction of (
101 ) housing units in the same BPC at a cost of ( 67,544,
000 ) million Dinars where about 48% of the construction
works are completed.
During the on-site inspection, the site devoted to design
and to construct 3000 housing units on a piece of land of a
total area of 60 hectares in the Basic People's Congress
al-Birket was examined.
This residential project is being supervised by Housing &
Utility Projects' Implementation Board. It was emphasized on
the necessity to complete construction of 42 housing units
in Eisayin, as directed by the Leader of the Revolution to
construct them for Eisayin residents within one year.
During the follow-up of Eisayin agricultural project, GPC
for Agriculture, Livestock and Marine Wealth was charged to
start urgent implementation of the project and to excavate
its water wells. On-site inspection included establishment
of Eisayin crossing between Great Jamahiriya and Algeria.
They underlined importance to pay attention to the
border-crossing and to provide it with all requirements to
facilitate crossing services.
During a follow up of uncompleted educational building,
authorization was given to Educational Buildings
Department to complete all
educational buildings in the Shabia in addition to making
necessary maintenance of the existing buildings .
The follow up tour also included al-Fatah Hospital in Ghat
where authorization was given to Administrative centres
development body to carry out maintenance of the hospital
and making necessary improvements , in addition to
authorizing the hospital management to coordinate with
neighbouring countries to bring in medical workers that the
hospital needs. |
